I have a 19 years experience in Marketing, Business Development and Business Strategy in various government agencies and consulting companies. I had initiated many collaborations with agencies when I was working with TERAJU, among those, initiated TERAJU International, an an initiative to facilitate the Bumiputera exporters to use the platform through various programmes and connecting them to the global arena with the aim to strengthen the competitiveness of Bumiputera companies as integral capacity-building in the international market. I have created and developed many programmes worth of RM120mil business opportunities üfor Bumiputera entrepreneurs through establishment of key strategic initiatives– TERAS fund with Hong Leong Islamic Bank (RM150mil), Bumiputera Initiatives for Globalisation (BIG) with MATRADE (RM50mil), Bumiputera Frontier Financing (BFF) with EXIM Bank (RM150mil), Development of Poultry Value Chain with RAMLY (RM20mil), TERAJU International initiative, Development of Bumiputera Fashion and Food Ecosystem (RM20mil), Sabah Accelerator Programme for Bumiputera Agropreneurs.
I was part of committee members in evaluating and assessing business proposals and fully involved in business advisory in helping the Bumiputera companies to scale up.
Prior to joining TERAJU, I was part of the Technology Hub Development Division team of Cyberview served as a strategist for team in developing, planning, assessing and implementing activities to elevate Cyberjaya into a Global Tech Hub (GTH) through development of incentives, technology programmes and initiatives, and facilitated the development and strengthen the technology and business ecosystem with industry partners. One key project that I was leading is Cyberjaya Talent Programme, where I initiated and launched “Cyberjaya Go to Varsity Programme”, a university outreach programme that caters to reach out the University community with the main focus to attract and develop talent in line with the GTH technology pillars and work in Cyberjaya companies. Among programmes introduced are Industrial Visit, Meet and Greet with Industry Players, Academia-Industry roundtable dialogue, Career Fair participation and etc. I also initiated the “Cyberjaya Student Ambassador” programme by recruiting and engaging the University students to become Cyberview’s advocate, champion and liaison to the University academia, and involve with GTH Go to Varsity Programme.
Being involved with many portfolios have made me gained values to contribute to any organisations in need. I believe that with the experiences that I have I would facilitate the organisations to execute their projects and initiatives smoothly and effectively,
